Understanding the Hygiene IQ Hub
The Hygiene IQ Hub acts as the central communication point for your location or room. Its primary role is to connect with and gather data from all sensors in the area. A Hub is essential for:
- Receiving sensor activity.
- Continuously updating the task list.
- Collecting data for reporting purposes.
To ensure uninterrupted service, the Hub must remain powered on and connected to Wi-Fi at all times. We recommend periodically checking all Hubs in your location to confirm they are properly connected to both power and the location’s Wi-Fi.
The Hub uses Bluetooth technology to connect with sensors, which must be within 50 feet of the Hub to maintain a connection. For optimal performance, we recommend placing the Hub in a central location relative to the sensors.
