How to delete a Hub

If you need to delete a Hub from your location, you can do so via the app. However, do not delete the only Hub in your location or room, as this will stop task notifications and cause the loss of collected data.

Follow these steps to delete a Hub:

  1. Open the Hygiene IQ app and access your location from the Customer Locations page
  2. HIQ App - Home Page
    Customer Locations Page - Select Location
  3. Once on the Tasks page, switch tabs by selecting Rooms.
  4. Tasks page - Select Rooms tab
  5. Select the room with the Hub you want to delete.
  6. Rooms Tab - Select Room
  7. Select the Hub to open the Hub Settings page.
  8. Room details page - Select Hub
  9. Tap the Delete hub button.

The app will delete the Hub and its records from the Hygiene IQ system. Once deleted, the Hub will revert to an unactivated, unassigned status. The license associated with the Hub’s Order ID will now be marked as Unassigned in the Hygiene IQ subscriptions site.

⚠️ Important Note: Ensure your mobile device is close to the Hub during this process to maintain a strong connection and successfully complete the deletion.
