How to swap a Hub device
If you need to switch the Hub to a new device, you can easily swap them in the Hygiene IQ app. Ensure both the old and new Hubs are powered on and placed near your mobile device before swapping them in the app. Follow these steps to swap devices:
- Gather the old and new Hub devices closer to your mobile.
- Open the Hygiene IQ app and access your location from the Customer Locations page
- Once on the Tasks page, switch tabs by selecting Rooms.
- Select the room with the Hub you want to swap.
- Select the Hub to open the Hub Settings page.
- Tap the Swap button.
- The app will scan for the new device. Select the newly scanned Hub in the app.
- Once the swap is complete, select OK on the pop-up message.
- Next tap Save on the Hub settings page.









The new Hub will be added to your location and room, and the old Hub will revert to an unactivated, unassigned status.
