How to edit sensor settings

If you need to modify any settings configured during the initial sensor activation, you can do so anytime through the Hygiene IQ app. Follow these steps to edit the settings:

  1. Take your mobile device close to the sensor that requires editing.
  2. Open the Hygiene IQ app and access your location from the Customer Locations page.

  4. Once on the Tasks page, switch tabs by selecting Rooms.
  5. Tasks page - Select Rooms tab
  6. Select the room with the sensor you want to edit.
  7. Rooms Tab - Select Room
  8. Select the sensor to open the Sensor Settings page.
  9. Room details page - Select sensor
  10. Edit the desired sensor settings:
    • Change the sensor type (follow the instructions available in the Tidy Up, Restock, Check-in, Handwash, Door, Monitor Usage, and Detection on the specifics of each sensor type. Follow from step 4 in the setup instructions when changing the sensor type).
    • Update the name of item or area the sensor was assigned to.
    • Select or modify the number of waves before receiving a notification (for Tidy Up and Restock sensors).
    • Set or update the time and days to receive notifications (for Check-in and Detection sensors).
    • Adjust notification intervals (for Check-in sensors).
    • Switch between activation by hand movement or vibration detection (for Handwash and Monitor Usage sensors).
    • Modify the notification threshold for the number of uses before being alerted (for Door and Monitor Usage sensors).
    • Set or change the detection range (for Detection sensors).
