How to recalibrate a Door sensor
If your Door sensor isn’t functioning properly (e.g., it doesn’t flash green when the door opens) or if you've replaced the battery, recalibration is required. Follow these steps to recalibrate the sensor:
- Bring your mobile device close to the door sensor.
- Open the Hygiene IQ app and access your location from the Customer Locations page.
- Once on the Tasks page, switch tabs by selecting Rooms.
- Select the room containing the Door sensor.
- Select the sensor to open the Sensor Settings page.
- Tap the Calibrate button.
- Ensure the door with the sensor attached is closed, then tap OK in the pop-up message.







The app will delete the sensor and its associated records from the Hygiene IQ system. Once deleted, the sensor will revert to an unactivated, unassigned status. Any previous tasks related to the deleted sensor will be removed from the app.
⚠️ Important Note : Ensure your mobile device is close to the sensor during this process to maintain a strong connection and successfully complete the deletion.
