How to delete a Room

To delete a room from your location, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Hygiene IQ app and access your location from the Customer Locations page (ignore step if already in the Tasks page for your location).
    2. HIQ App - Home Page
    Customer Locations Page - Select Location
  2. Once on the Tasks page, switch tabs by selecting Rooms.
    3. Tasks page - Select Rooms tab
  3. Select the room you want to delete.
    4. Rooms Tab - Select Room
  4. Tap the Settings button in the top-right corner.
    5. Room details - Settings button
  5. Scroll to the bottom and select Delete Room.
    6. Room settings - Delete room button

The app will delete the room from the Hygiene IQ system and reset all Hubs and sensors allocated to the room.

⚠️ Important Notes:

  • Before deleting a room from the Hygiene IQ app, make sure you are physically present in the room you want to delete. This ensures that you can verify the room details and confirm that the correct Hub and sensors are being removed from the system.
  • Once a room is deleted from the app, you will no longer receive alerts from the sensors added to the room.
