How to disable notifications

We highly recommend keeping Hygiene IQ notifications enabled, as they are part of your subscription plan and help you stay on top of tasks related to hygiene and customer well-being. However, if you need to disable notifications, you can do so either through the app or your mobile device’s settings.

To disable notifications from the Hygiene IQ app:

  1. Open the Hygiene IQ app and access your location from the Customer Locations page (ignore step if already in the Tasks page for your location).
  2. HIQ App - Home Page
Customer Locations Page - Select Location
  3. On the Tasks page, tap the notification bell icon located above the task list.
  4. Task page - Notification bell
  5. In the prompt message, select ‘Ok’ to confirm.
  6. Disable notifications pop-up
  7. Once disabled, the notification bell icon will turn red with a line through it, indicating that notifications are off.
  8. Disable notifications pop-up

To re-enable notifications, simply tap the bell icon again. It will return to its original color without the line across it to indicate that notifications are active.

To disable notifications from your device’s settings:

  1. Open your mobile device’s Settings.
  2. Go to the app notification settings.
  3. Locate HygieneIQ in the list of apps and disable notifications.
  4. Once disabled, the notification bell icon will appear red with a line across it the next time you access your location’s task list in the app.

To re-enable notifications, go to your device’s settings and enable notifications for the HygieneIQ app. When you access your location’s task list again, the notification bell icon will return to its original color without the line across it to indicate notifications are active.
