How to add a User

Follow the steps below to add more users to a location via the Hygiene IQ app. Please note that you must be an Account Admin for the location in order to add additional users.

  1. Open the Hygiene IQ app and access your location from the Customer Locations page.
  2. HIQ App - Home Page
    Customer Locations Page - Select Location
  3. Once on the Tasks page, tap the Menu icon on the top left corner of the screen.
  4. Task Page - Menu Button
  5. Select Users.
  6. Menu Items - Users
  7. Tap the Add User button.
  8. Users Page - Add User Button
  9. Enter the user’s Full name and Email address.
  10. Add User Page - Add name and Email fields
  11. Select the appropriate permission level.
  12. Add User Page - Permission types
  13. Check the box if you want to send the user an invitation email.
  14. Add User Page - Email invite check box
  15. Define filters for the user, if applicable. These filters will notify the user of tasks for specific Buildings/Floors/Rooms.
  16. Add User Page - Fliter selection
  17. Tap Save.
  18. Add User Page - Save Button

Once these steps are completed, the new user will receive an invitation to join the location within the app. If the checkbox was selected, the invitation will also be sent to their email.

⚠️ Important Note : All new users must first download the Hygiene IQ app on their mobile devices and create a new user account before accepting a location invite.
